There are many, many articles on the web about bentonite and its many uses so I’m not going to go into full detail on it’s benefits. In fact, I have a link for you below for more details. However, I do want to share my experiences with bentonite clay in regards to detoxing and one of the many reasons why I’m so fascinated with it.
When I first tried a bentonite clay detox drink, I’ll admit that I was a little nervous about tasting it.
This simple way of detoxing is especially good to do during the holidays. You’ll want to enjoy those wonderful holiday meals, but can immediately detox your body afterward so that you can keep your body functioning properly. Here’s one of my favorite recipes for a morning detox:
1 1/2 – 2 cups warm filtered water
1 tsp bentonite clay
1 tsp honey
Bentonite Clay expels heavy metal toxins from the body but also include minerals like calcium, magnesium and iron. Depending on your body’s needs, a bentonite clay regimen may be a great supplement for nutrients and minerals not received from food.
