Good Nutrition Brings Good Health
What We Eat Does Matter
Take a moment to count the number of people you know who don’t have any medical conditions, illnesses, disease, not overweight or struggle with their digestive system, allergies, or take medication of any kind. If you do know any, you can probably count them all on one hand.
The biggest reason for this is our food. Not many of us realize that there are chemicals, hormones, additives, and many other toxins in our food that we are just not aware of. Honestly, it’s unfair for companies, restaurants and food manufacturers to not tell us what is really in our food. Sometimes they are not even fully aware of its content. From the time food is grown, or in some cases – engineered, there are things being done that the next handler may not be aware of.
So if so many of us are struggling in our health, then it makes perfect sense that food is the main culprit. What we eat does matter. We are either eating food or junk. But junk is not food. Food is anything that fuels our body properly. Good nutrition brings good health.
The key is to stick to food in its purest form. USDA Organic, non-gmo, hormone-free, grass-fed, pasture-raised, gluten-free, fresh produce are just a few things to look for. Try starting with a detox to give your body a fresh start, then eat cleaner, pure foods and educate yourself and your family on how to fuel the body properly.
***For a true “clean” diet, avoid all animal products which includes meat, eggs and dairy. Consume beans, nuts, seeds, fruit and vegetables with no meat.
